To say that the pigeon racing sport in North America, or for that matter, in the rest of the supposedly civilized world is steeped in myth, would be to utter an understatement­ in fact, an understatement of grand proportions. Though most in the sport pride themselves on their knowledge of science, nothing is further from the truth.
